The importance of connections!

Cables permit dialogue between the components of our hi-fi system and they continually carry information; so they are the "nerve centre" of the hi-fi system.

Understimating this point, leads to an incomplete system and a limitation of the real potential.
Among people keen on hi-fi, it is not rare to hear negative opinions about a preamplifier, an amplifier, speakers and something else.
Apart from the intrinsic characteristics of each component, the dissatisfaction of the audiophils is often caused by poor cables.
The uniform distribution of energy across an audio-spectrum is the basic objective of audio cables.
Reproduce perfectly all the instrumental measures is not always possible because the effort to improve one parameter, inevitably leads to the worsening of anothers.
It is easy to build cables which have superbasses, monochromatic means, or intense acutes; unfortunately with this kind of cables we could have the impression of improving listening of some passage, but after some minutes of listening we want to swicht off the front end and do something else!

Why?
There is not equilibrium!

Equilibrium of all the parameters (when reached) leads to quiet, satisfaction, serenity, in short: pleasure of listening!

To obtain this equilibrium from a cable, design must be careful so does not omit any detail, does not privilege a part of the spectrum to the destriment of the others.
A good cable must not introduce any kind of colouring and must not repress the most delicated nuances because these are parts of the music.
To build a cable it is necessary to be free from preconceptions regarding the material of conductors and insulatings and, moreover, we must not have constructive bonds caused by the necessity of specialized labour, by the difficulties in complicate constructing with snail profit: in short machines manufacture industrial products, while craftsmanships permits in our opinion, a more tempting results.

To obtain superb performance R&C makes its cables fully by hand, so we pay attention to each phase of their manufacture; even the solderings (often considered a marginal fact) are carried at a controlled temperature with tin of silver alloy.
Induttance and capacity are perfectly controlled using particular geometries that consider the diameter of the conductors, the material, the number of wires that make up the conductors and the materials used for the dielettrics.
Don’t worry about the auto-oscillations that some device could manifest when connected to cables which have a lot of picofarad; our interconnections have very little capacities and are far from the notch of the audio-side.

So, are they inductive? (Good question !)
No, there is a very low inductance caused by complicated geometry, the cables do not have coverings containing ferrite compounds and they do not have even nucleus of iron-magnetic material that some cable constructors use, enveloping all in strange or magic boxes.
It is known that, if close to iron-magnetic materials a conductor raises its inductance and automatically reduces the audio-side passing high so, reducing the problems but also the useful information.
To build our cables we shape super compact strands without microvibrations among the constituent wires so as to not disturb the signal with micro inductive variations. The high purity copper or silver are protected from oxidation with particular resins, ensure top performance even in the future.
Electro-magnetic pollution and R.F. interference are already under control with proper project and, where necessary, with copper, aluminium or lead shielding.

In conclusion, cabling your Hi-Fi system with R&C connections, you will understand the meaning of timbre, controll of low frequences, micro-details, transparence, dynamics and, obviously unbeatable musicality!
